Environmental CFD

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is the numerical representation of fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical reactions, and related phenomena.

With high speed computers, modern day applications of CFD  now cover virtually all aspects of fluid flow analysis. CFD has long been used in the development of jet engines, wind turbines, pumps, and compressors, and has also replaced some of the need for wind tunnel testing.
