BMT WBM’s Machinery Group has significant experience in the specification, installation and operation of instrumentation systems. These systems allow the measurement of strain, torque, vibration, acceleration and displacement, and can be used to measure the operational behaviour of many industrial and civil machines and structures. In conjunction with computational analysis, the data can be used to diagnose problems, predict fatigue life, determine fitness for purpose and suggest design or operational rectifications.
