Our History
WBM was formed in 1969 as a partnership of three engineers with a vision of undertaking leading edge consulting activities in measurement and computational analysis of difficult and unusual problems in mechanical and maritime engineering and environmental hydraulics. Now with nearly 150 staff, the company has evolved a strong business culture based on the specialist expertise and enjoyment of its professional engineers and scientists in providing solutions of high quality and value.
In 2006 WBM became part of the worldwide BMT group of companies. Peter French, Chief Executive of BMT Ltd, said: "BMT was attracted to WBM as it was an ideal fit for our strategy of investing further in the Australian market and, equally importantly, because we felt that WBM's culture, its employment of high quality and professional staff and its track record of innovation and commitment to its customers all mirror those within BMT.
